Te Āwhina Marae is celebrating Waitangi Day starting with a pōwhiri at 4pm. 

This will followed by kaikōrero:

  • Rōpata Stephens, sharing the history of Te Āwhina Marae; 
  • Kerensa Johnston speaking about Te Tiriti and the Tenths Trust; and 
  • Hamish Bennett, who will introduce his movie uproar.

There will be a screening of the movie Uproar at 6pm. Entry by koha.
