Learn more about the Motueka Awa in a free, community-guided river snorkel later this month.

Educational providers will present on a range of topics including Macroinvertebrates (bugs) identification and Check Clean Dry demonstrations.

Date: 26 January 2025, 10am-2pm.

  • Bring whanau and friends and explore the waters of Motueka awa during a drift snorkel and community day at McLeans Recreation Area
  • An experienced snorkel guide and all equipment will be provided
  • For ages 7 years and over with an adult
  • Pre-registration is required, Scan QR code or register online
  • Free sausage sizzle to warm up afterwards
  • Koha welcomed, raffle and merch available for purchase (cash only)
