Save your precious memories for the future

This time of year is often when we tell our stories and share our memories – we’ll sit and kōrero – or play those old VHS tapes full of precious memories.

Tapes wear out and degrade over time - but there is now an opportunity to digitise old video tapes to preserve them for the future, thanks to Te Whare Rangahau o Tokomaru. This means you can easily play your videos on your phone, laptop or other device.

Until the end of February, Te Whare Rangahau o Tokomaru are offering help to get your VHS tapes digitised.
