Yesterday a new interpretation panel was blessed at Pokororo on the banks of the Motueka Awa.

Sited up the Motueka valley alongside Tasman’s Great Taste Trail, the panel shares purakau of the origins and the importance of the Awa to Ngāti Rārua, Ngāti Tama and Te Ātiawa o Te Waka ā Maui.
