Māori Women's Welfare League Scholarship

Are you on a journey of learning new skills to benefit whānau?

Apply now for a scholarship valued at $500 for 2025!

This scholarship is designed to support Māori women who are pursuing education opportunities that will benefit their whānau and communities.

Criteria

• You must be at least 35 years old and Māori.
• The course must have a Māori component embedded or a Māori module in the kaupapa you have chosen to train in.
• Have good whanau and/or iwi networks in Te Tau Ihu.
• Have some life experience in the kaupapa you are pursuing.
• Enclose evidence you are enrolled in your chosen programme and are attending the course.
• Complete a report on your progress or graduation, at the end of the year in person to Whakatū Branch.
