Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua will be holding a series of tikanga/ kawa wānanga named ‘Kia Pai ki Mua’ by our Pouwhakahaere, Shane Graham. The inspiration behind this name comes from the Kia Pai Te Noho strategy.
The purpose of these wānanga is to strengthen our paepae and ensure that Ngāti Rārua tikanga and kawa are upheld across Te Tauihu.
The wānanga will be held over the following weekends:
Wānanga Tuatahi: April 15th – April 16th (Hauhunga Marae)
Wānanga Tuarua: July 1st – July 2nd (Whakatū Marae)
Wānanga Tuatoru: August 26th – August 27th (Te Āwhina Marae)
Wānanga Tuawhā: October 14th – October 15th (Onetahua Marae)
