Kai and kawakawa at Wairau Pasifika Festival

Te Hauora O Ngāti Rārua showed a strong presence at the Pasifika Festival on Saturday in Wairau, promoting their services and working in collaboration with Te Whatu Ora – Public Health Nurses.

Te Hauora O Ngāti Rārua were championing immunisation education while the Public Health Nurses were vaccinating our whānau.

We had a cosy area filled with beanbags, kai, kawakawa and lime juice for our whānau to come and relax and have a kōrero while enjoying the vibrant energy of the Pasifika Festival.

Pataka was also brought along and shared with our whānau.
