Have your say on the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill
The trustees of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua have resolved to make a submission to the Government strongly opposing the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill.
We urge all our whānau to do the same.
It is a simple process to have your say using an online form.
You don’t have to write a novel – simple, clear statements in your own words are fine.
It is important to state your position (oppose or support) and then give reasons why. For example, it is okay to simply say that “I strongly oppose the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi Bill because it ignores our Rangatiratanga.”
The deadline is 7 January
Please encourage your whānau and friends to send their feedback to the select committee too. The more responses we can get the better.
