Grants and support for whānau
Our grants and support for whānau are available throughout the year.
We offer contributions to registered whānau of Ngāti Rārua to support whānau development and aspirations.
There are no closing dates for applications, which are considered on a case-by-case basis. Individual whānau members can apply once per year.

About our contributions
The amount of our contribution depends on the kaupapa, which can be:
- Mauri Ora - Kapahaka, wānanga, reo, sporting or cultural;
- Awhi / Support; or
- Other.
Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
For accountability, we ask that you
1) Provide sufficient time for TRoNR to consider the application (at least 4 weeks).
2) Do not apply for retrospective events or items.
3) Demonstrate accountability if you are successful by providing:
- A report on the results of individual participation with photos; OR
- A 1-minute video on the results of individual participation; AND
- Attending at our AGM to acknowledge the support provided by Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua.
Membership number required
Our form requires a membership number. If you don't know your membership number, please contact us on registrations@ngatirarua.iwi.nz.
