Expressions of Interest: Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua Endorsed Candidates for Māori Governance course

In collaboration with Ngā Iwi e Waru o Te Tauihu, we are offering a unique opportunity to develop your governance skills.

Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua is seeking candidates for endorsement to take part in Manu Taiko - Toro Parirau, a Māori governance course at NMIT. This programme offers ethical, professional, and cultural leadership development, equipping you with the skills needed to thrive in governance roles.

As part of this one-year, part-time certificate, you will deepen your understanding of kotahitanga, whanaungatanga, kaitiakitanga, and rangatiratanga, while gaining expertise in governance, financial management, communication, and more.

This qualification will strengthen your leadership capabilities in a distinctly Te Tauihu way. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to apply your governance skills with Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Rārua support.
